Sophomore Year

Two semesters of prototyping and mechanical product design. Two standout labs: a 4-bar linkage toss launcher built around a class competition, and a load-bearing tower designed, tested and presented in a written officer's report. Competition format forced real tolerance and repeatability on both.

4-bar linkage launcher

Iterated from a weak first prototype to a final build that held its own against the class. Each video shows a step in the prototyping arc.

Load-bearing tower

Designed a truss tower to carry as much load as possible, then tested it under a progressive load until failure. Wrote and presented the officer's report for the team.
