About

Hi, I'm Cédric.

Master's student in Robotics at Penn, graduating May 2026. Building robots and writing software for them.

I'm a Robotics Software & Autonomy Engineer who recently finished my Master's at Penn. I grew up in France and came to the US for engineering and entrepreneurial opportunities. Over time, I've found myself most drawn to robotics software: planning, controls, state estimation, ROS 2, and getting autonomy to actually work on hardware.

Recently, I've been working on HAMR, an off-road robot at GRASP ModLab; a JAX-based MPPI stack for F1TENTH/RoboRacer; and LiBot, an autonomous library robot for the SICK $10K Challenge. Before that, I worked at NASA Goddard on a ROS 2 / cFS rover testbed and completed my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering, also at Penn.

I'm looking for new-grad robotics software and autonomy roles, especially with teams building real robots. I'm most excited by mobile robots, planning and controls, sim-to-real, and the messy systems work that turns a good algorithm into something reliable and exceptional.

Outside work, I produce and DJ house, disco, and rhythmic electronic music in bars, clubs, and lounges. I like being outdoors and try to get near the water whenever I can: scuba diving, sailing, surfing, working out, or just walking somewhere sunny.
