Supervisor and Lab Manager at the Penn Rapid Prototyping Lab since September 2022. The makerspace serves roughly 1,000 Penn Engineering students and researchers. I run day-to-day operations and train the student staff team.
- Led a material-waste reduction initiative projected to save 20% in Q3 costs, earmarked for new machinery
- Optimized workflows on the laser cutters and 3D printer fleet to increase throughput
- Trained the student staff team on safe operation, design-for-manufacture and machine maintenance
- First line of technical support for ~1,000 users across the School of Engineering
